"Magneto, named after a part on my 1978 Yamaha SR500 motorcycle, is similar to the second cello suite in style. Its character is influenced by the Classic Rock and Heavy Metal of Lead Zeppelin, Metallica, and the Rolling Stones. Again, like suite number two, it is considerably longer and more virtuosic (two movements are all pizzicato using guitar techniques) than suites one, three, and four."
